All students requiring transportation will be notified by the bus company of their pickup time and location prior to the start of the 2010-2011 school year.
Student Transportation Set-Up
If a student is eligible for transportation, every attempt will be made to have the student on the bus within three (3) working days from the time the school staff enters the student information into eSIS.
If a parent or student wishes to verify their bus pickup and drop off locations, route number, contractor name and phone number, please click on the "Bus Stop Info" tab along the left side of this web site and follow the directions. |
We hope that the information provided will help answer some of the questions you might have regarding student transportation, bus cancellation procedures during inclement weather situations and general expectations and guidelines for student transportation.
The Transportation Department provides student transportation to approximately 25,000 students within Eastern Ontario

Reminders for Parents/Guardians
First Weeks of School - Parents/guardians should be aware that the first few weeks of school are always a transitional period and as such population changes and address changes affect routes and they are adjusted quite frequently. We ask that parents/guardians be patient and understanding during this period.
Student Transportation Set-Up - If your child is eligible for transportation, every attempt will be made to have your child on the bus within three (3) working days from the time that the school enters the student’s information into the Board’s Electronic Student Information System. If you wish to verify bus pickup and drop-off locations, route number, contractor name and phone number please click on the “Bus Stop Finder” link and follow the directions.
Keep Information Current - It is essential that this office have the most up-to-date information, i.e., telephone numbers (home and work), address changes (include civic address), etc. Please inform your child's school immediately of any changes to this information.
The Transportation Department would like to identify any students eligible for busing but do not wish to use transportation services. If you do not require transportation services please contact the Transportation Department at 1-800-818-3679 or email us at transcomments@ucdsb.on.ca.
